Qelvori for iPhone
Add it to your Home Screen.
Until Qelvori is in the App Store, the iPhone app is a web app you put on your Home Screen yourself. It takes a minute, and then it works like any app: its own icon, full screen, a PIN or Face ID, reminders, and it opens without a connection. Your money stays on your iPhone.
Before you start
- Use Safari. If you came here from another app (Instagram, Gmail, WhatsApp…), open this page in Safari first: tap ⋯ or the share button and choose Open in Safari.
- iOS 16.4 or later, so reminders can arrive as notifications (Settings → General → About → iOS Version).
- Open it from the Home Screen, not from Safari: in a Safari tab it only shows these steps, because Safari can clear a website's data after a week, while a Home Screen app keeps its own.
What to do
-
Tap “Open Qelvori for iPhone” below, then the Share button in Safari's toolbar (the square with an arrow, at the bottom of the screen, or at the top on an iPad).
-
Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”. (Don't see it? Tap Edit Actions… at the bottom of the list and add it.)
-
Keep “Open as Web App” on (newer iOS shows it), then tap Add.
-
Open Qelvori from your Home Screen, agree to the terms and choose your PIN. That's it.
Open Qelvori for iPhone
It opens qelv-app.netlify.app, the iPhone app's own address.
On a computer?
Scan this with your iPhone's Camera, tap the link it shows to open it in Safari, then follow the steps above.
Once it's on your iPhone
- Reminders
- Settings → Reminders → Notifications on this iPhone → Turn on, and allow them when iOS asks.
- Face ID
- Settings → Security → Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID. Your PIN still works.
- Your data from a PC or Android
- Turn on Sync (Plus) on both and scan the pairing code, or save a backup file there and restore it on the iPhone.
- Keep a copy
- Removing Qelvori from your Home Screen deletes its data on the iPhone, so turn on Sync or save a backup now and then.
The iPhone app reads your Gmail only while it's open, and every so often opening it takes a quick trip to Google's page to keep your access going. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
